NEURO-OPHTHALMOLOGY

Neupro-ophthalmology is subspecialty of ophthalmology looking at vision problems that are related to the nervous system. Such issues can be caused by brain injuries or diseases, including trauma, a stroke, or an infection, for example. While our neuro-ophthalmologists are interested in  a vast variety of topics, at the Vision Research Centre, we are currently focused in diagnostic testing for rare neuro-ophthalmology conditions such as LHON.
